2nd and 3rd Degree Burn Simulators
Our burn simulators are professionally designed training tools that provide realistic demonstrations and practical opportunities for burn first aid. Each simulator is designed to reproduce the visual and tactile characteristics of second and third-degree burns, assisting in the comprehensive education and skill development of healthcare professionals and first responders.
2nd Degree Burn Simulator
- This simulator realistically demonstrates the appearance of second-degree burns, characterized by skin redness and the formation of blisters filled with clear fluid.
- Made of highly elastic medical-grade silicone, equipped with a convenient attachment system for limbs, ensuring secure fixation during training.
- Ideal for practicing first aid algorithms for burns. The simulator helps trainees recognize the main signs of a 2nd-degree burn, which is necessary for correctly applying appropriate aid methods.
3rd Degree Burn Simulator
- Demonstrates severe thermal damage indicative of third-degree burns (especially 3b): deep skin damage, wet ulcers with uneven edges, yellowish coating on the wound bottom, and "transparent" blood vessels visible in the wound.
- Made of highly elastic medical-grade silicone, the simulator has a slight stickiness that ensures effective adherence to the body. For more secure attachment, the set includes Velcro straps that provide good fixation of the simulator during training.
- The simulator is used to practice first aid skills for third-degree burns and to illustrate critical signs associated with such serious injuries.
Skills:
- Assessment of burn degrees.
- First aid for 2nd and 3rd-degree burns, including:
- Prevention of infectious complications (applying sterile dressings).
- Pain relief.
- Patient stabilization and minimization of further injuries.
- Skills in effective communication with emergency medical services for timely patient transportation.
- Comprehensive care planning to prevent complications in cases of severe burns.
Advantages:
- Realistic training: These simulators provide a highly realistic simulation of 2nd and 3rd-degree burns, creating an appropriate emotional background for trainees, adapting them to providing first aid in real situations.
- Safe and controlled environment: Learners can practice important skills in a safe environment.
- Confidence building: These simulators help strengthen confidence and improve first aid skills for burn injuries.
