Artificial blood developed by Stepen R&D LLC is based on a unique formula that imitates the physical and chemical properties of real blood. Designed for use in training, it ensures realistic simulation of bleeding control techniques.
Purpose and Application
- Simulation of bleedings of various intensities (mild, moderate, massive) on models, mannequins, and simulators.
- Applicable in the fields of:
- tactical medicine (TCCC/C-TECC);
- training of military medics, paramedics, rescue workers;
- first aid courses for civilians;
- practical sessions in medical and pharmaceutical universities and colleges;
- simulation centers and training polygon environments.
Physical and Chemical Properties (for 5 L of solution)
| Parameter | Value / Range | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Relative viscosity | 4.5 – 5.1 | Measured against water at 20 °C |
| Osmolality | 275 – 295 mOsm/L | Isotonic to blood plasma |
| pH | 7.4 ± 0.5 | Recommended water pH: 6.5–7.5 |
Key Benefits
